Product description
This Gasket Tape, measuring 1 inch wide by 7 feet long, is a versatile sealing material used in various Quadrafire appliances to prevent air and smoke leakage. This heat-resistant tape is typically applied around doors, glass panels, or ash pans to create a compression seal that ensures the stove remains airtight. Maintaining a proper seal is crucial for controlling the burn rate and maximizing the efficiency of your heating unit. A leaking gasket can lead to an over-fired stove, poor fuel economy, and smoke entering the room. This 7-foot roll provides enough material for standard maintenance tasks, and its 1-inch width offers ample coverage for wide sealing surfaces. The tape is designed to withstand the high temperatures of a fireplace hearth without deteriorating, providing a durable and reliable seal that helps your stove operate safely and predictably throughout the winter.
