A 2-Inch Front Leveling Kit for 4WD Ram 1500 Trucks
This is the Zone Offroad D1202, a 2-inch front leveling kit for 2019-2025 Ram 1500 4WD trucks. It combines a top-mounted strut spacer with a preload spacer to raise the front ride height to match the factory rear, correcting the nose-down stance and opening up clearance for larger tires without changing the factory ride quality.
Key Features
- Zone Offroad D1202 combination top strut spacer and preload spacer set for 2 inches of front lift.
- Levels front ride height to match the factory rear stance on 4WD Ram 1500 trucks.
- Retains the factory struts and is designed to maintain factory-like ride quality rather than stiffen it.
- Opens up wheel-well clearance for larger tire and wheel combinations, up to 33×12.50 tires on this application.
- Backed by Zone Offroad’s limited lifetime warranty on hard parts.
- Includes easy-to-follow instructions and Zone Offroad decals.

FAQ
What is the D1202?
It is a 2-inch front leveling kit that uses a strut spacer and preload spacer to raise the front ride height on 4WD Ram 1500 trucks.
Does this fit my Ram 1500?
It fits 2019-2022 Ram 1500 4WD trucks across the trims listed in the fitment table. It does not fit the Ram 1500 RHO or TRX, which use different front suspension.
Do I need new shocks with this kit?
No. The kit uses the factory struts with a spacer, and shocks are not included or required for installation.
Will I need an alignment after installing this kit?
Yes. A front-end alignment is required after installation since ride height and suspension geometry change.
Can I run larger tires after installing this kit?
Yes. The kit is rated for up to 33×12.50 tires, though wheel-well or bumper trimming may be needed depending on the exact tire and wheel combination.
Does this kit affect ride quality?
The kit is designed to maintain factory ride quality while leveling the stance.
What is the warranty on this kit?
Zone Offroad backs its hard parts with a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle it was installed on.
Is professional installation required?
Professional installation is recommended, since the process requires strut disassembly and a strut compressor, though it can be completed with common suspension tools.
Installation Instructions
- Park the vehicle on a clean, flat surface, block the rear wheels, then raise and support the front of the truck on jack stands and remove the front wheels.
- Disconnect the sway bar links from the lower control arms, then separate the upper ball joint and tie rod end from the steering knuckle using the appropriate puller tools.
- Disconnect the brake caliper bracket and ABS wire, remove the brake rotor, then remove the lower and upper strut bolts and take the strut assembly out of the vehicle.
- Mark the strut body, cap, and upper coil seat for reassembly alignment, then compress the coil spring with a strut compressor and remove the upper strut nut to access the strut cap.
- Install the provided preload spacers and new bolts into the strut cap, reassemble the strut with the top spacer in place, and torque the strut nut to 52 ft-lbs.
- Reinstall the strut assembly, lower control arm, and factory hardware, then torque the upper strut hardware to 40 ft-lbs and the lower strut hardware to 124 ft-lbs.
- Reinstall the brake rotor and caliper, tie rod end, and sway bar link, torquing each to Zone Offroad’s specified values, then reinstall the wheels.
- Lower the vehicle, adjust the headlights, and have a front-end alignment performed before returning the truck to normal use. Recheck all hardware torque after 500 miles.
